Bending Magnet
This bending magnet is an electromagnet that applies the principle by which a charged-particle beam passing through a magnetic field is deflected by the Lorentz force, and it is used in particle accelerator beamlines to redirect the beam along a desired angle. The effective field length and field uniformity are key design factors that determine how precisely the beam is bent.
